OK, this is a bit of an obvious one and something I’ll probably still be saying when there are thousands of different scenes out there already. But I want more content!
Right now content is really limited to a handful of examples and most of these are just demos.
I want 10, 20 or 30-minute full-blown scenes where I can strap on my headset and kick back and tug my meat over. Which brings me on to my next major want in AR porn…
#2 Longer and More Animations
Like I say, the demos aren’t cutting it for me. I’d like to see full-length videos and more variations of animations.
Apps like Holograms by Naughty America have the biggest library of models and animations to date which currently stands at 13 3D models and a total of around 50 animations.
It offers pole dancing, boob shaking and pussy spreading animations, plus a bunch of others. But each of these only lasts for a few seconds so not yet entirely worthy of a good fapping session.
#3 Better Visuals for 3D Content
Cutting out the bullshit, there are two types of AR porn, pre-recorded 2D videos and digitally created 3D models.
For the 2-dimension content, you pretty much get exactly what was recorded in the studio. Not completely crystal clear, but good enough to bust a nut over.
For the 3D content, I’d like to see graphics improve so that the models appear much more realistic. The great thing about AR porn is its ability to take part in some erotic 3D action. Choosing how you have sex with the model, which part of her body you see and when you see it.
To make them appear more realistic, I want to see much better graphics and more realistic lighting and skin-shading.
One of the biggest problems with AR porn is trying to match the model’s light and shading so that it blends in realistically with the real-world environment. Once this issue can be conquered, 3D AR porn will start to get more realistic and therefore better and more enjoyable.
#4 POV
One of the main things that keep me coming back to VR porn is the hot POV scenes. Being up close and personal with the girl of my choice and feeling like I’m really having sex with her.
This is what I’d really like to see in AR porn.
If you’ve tried AR porn, you’ll notice that pretty much all the content are solo scenes such as an erotic striptease, or just watching the model perform from across the room.
Without question, POV AR porn will come, but for now, the concept is very much restricted to the state of the headset market.
Most of the augmented reality porn available today is smartphone-based which really limits the possibility of having POV sex in AR.
CamasutraVR’s AR app offers a few different POV animations such as doggystyle and blowjob, but this is viewed by holding your smartphone just inches from the model in front of you while you move it up and down to check out her body.
This isn’t entirely satisfying when you just want to pound her ass and enjoy the show.
More affordable consumer headsets will begin to change the situation which brings me on to my next point…
#5 Cheaper and Better Headsets
This isn’t exactly what I would like to see in AR porn per se, but this is one of the main things that will help the augmented reality adult industry begin to accelerate.
We can expect to see AR headset nReal Light go up for sale in 2020 for $500 which will hopefully be one of the first milestones in affordable consumer headsets. Because let’s face it, $3,500 for a Hololens 2 isn’t exactly the most attractive price-point. But $500 is almost on point with devices like Oculus Quest which is far more reasonable.
I’d also like to see the field of view and tracking of current headsets improve.
At the moment the best FOV we can get our hands on is the Hololens 2 which is reported to have a 70-degree field of view. Compare this to VR headsets such as Rift, Vive and Playstation VR which each have a FOV of 110, then AR headsets have got some catching up to do before they’re on par with these devices.
And in terms of tracking, the technology isn’t quite there yet to ensure the model stays exactly where you left her. If you look away and then look back, at times you’ll find that she’s suddenly disappeared. This is generally fine if you’re always looking at the model and don’t move around, otherwise, this can begin to get quite annoying.
